Day 5: The Savior Who Reinstates
Reading: John 21:15-19
Devotional: Three times Peter denied Jesus. Three times Jesus asked, "Do you love me?" This wasn't punishment; it was restoration. Jesus doesn't leave us in our shame but pursues us with questions that lead to healing. Notice Jesus didn't ask Peter to prove his love through perfect performance. He simply invited Peter back into relationship and purpose: "Feed my sheep." Whatever you've done, however you've failed, Jesus meets you with the same question: "Do you love me?" Your answer doesn't have to be perfect. Peter's wasn't—"Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Imperfect love is enough because His perfect grace completes what we lack. Today, accept His reinstatement.
