Day 4: The God Who Remembers and Rescues
Reading: Psalm 136:1-26
Devotional: God heard the cries of His people in Egyptian slavery and remembered His promises. He still hears you today. Every prayer, every tear, every desperate plea—God hears them all and responds. He remembered Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and He remembers every promise He's made to you. More than that, just as He rescued Israel from slavery, He has rescued you from the slavery of sin and death through Jesus Christ. You are no longer bound by shame, guilt, or fear. God's steadfast love endures forever, and His rescue mission in your life is complete. Today, remember what God has brought you through and trust Him with what lies ahead.
Reflection: What has God rescued you from? How can remembering His faithfulness strengthen your trust today?
