Day 2: The God Who Calls You by Name
Reading: Isaiah 43:1-7
Devotional: "I have called you by name; you are mine." These aren't generic words spoken to a crowd—they're personal, intimate words spoken directly to you. At your baptism, God claimed you as His own child, calling you by name. But His voice didn't stop there. God continues speaking to you through Scripture, through worship, through the counsel of faithful friends. You are not anonymous to the Creator of the universe. He knows your name, your story, your struggles, and your dreams. Today, listen for His voice. Open your Bible expecting to hear Him speak. Sit in silence and know that the God who formed you is still calling out to you with love and purpose.
Reflection: When was the last time you truly listened for God's voice? What might He be saying to you today?
