Summer Road Trip

Aug 24, 2025

On our journey of faith, we're often confronted with the question: Is it about the destination or the journey itself? This sermon challenges us to consider a third perspective - that our true destination is a new way of seeing things through the lens of Christ. Drawing from the powerful conversion story of Saul on the road to Damascus, we're reminded that Jesus often places Himself in our path, not to obstruct us, but to redirect us. Just as Saul's encounter with Christ completely transformed his perspective and purpose, we too are called to daily 'die to ourselves' and see the world anew through the eyes of faith. This message encourages us to recognize that our frustrations, abundance, lack, and challenges are all opportunities to grow in patience, generosity, contentment, and trust. As we navigate our own road trips of faith, we're invited to continually ask ourselves: Are we seeing things from Jesus' perspective?
