Connected: Connected to One Another

May 11, 2025    Pastor Matthew Schultz

In our digital age, we're reminded of the timeless human need for connection. Just as Facebook revolutionized how we stay in touch, the early church used letters to maintain unity across vast distances. These epistles, like Paul's greetings in Colossians, were the social media of their time - sharing updates, encouragement, and prayer requests. Today, we have a new tool to strengthen our spiritual bonds: our church app. This digital platform isn't just about convenience; it's a modern expression of our calling to be united as the body of Christ. As Jesus said, He is the vine and we are the branches. This app allows us to grow together, share our faith journey, and support one another daily. It's a powerful reminder that our connection to Christ and each other transcends physical boundaries, helping us live out our faith in a connected, supportive community.
