Day 3

Day 3: The Gospel Is the Treasure
Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

Devotional: The treasure the church has been entrusted with is not a building, a tradition, or a program. It is the gospel itself. As Paul describes in 2 Corinthians 5, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting sins against those who come to him in faith. This is the message that changes everything. It is not a message we invented or earned. It was given to us, and we are now ambassadors of that reconciliation. Every generation of believers receives this treasure and is called to hand it on. The gospel does not belong to us to keep. It belongs to the world that still needs to hear it.

Personal Reflection: How do you think about the gospel in your daily life? Is it a treasure you are actively sharing, or something you tend to keep close and quiet?

Practical Application: Pray today for one person in your life who does not yet know the peace that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Ask God to open a door for you to share that good news with them this week.
