Day 5

Day 5: Hope That Does Not End
Reading: Psalm 131:3, where the psalmist calls God's people to place their hope in the Lord from this time and forevermore, alongside Romans 8:38-39, where Paul declares that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus

Devotional: Childlike faith is not just for the good days. It is a posture meant to carry us through every season, every failure, every loss, and every unknown. The psalmist ends with a word not just for himself but for all of God's people: hope in the Lord, now and forever. This hope is not wishful thinking. It is a settled confidence in a God who has proven himself faithful, who sent his Son, who overcame death, and who holds the future. No matter what this season brings, you are a child of that God. Run to your Father. He is near, and he is not going anywhere.

Practical Application: End this week by writing down one way God has proven faithful to you in the past. Let that evidence of his character anchor your hope as you move into the days ahead.
