Day 4

Day 4: No Sin Beyond the Reach of Grace
Reading: Psalm 51:1-4, 10-12 — David's prayer of repentance after Nathan confronted him, crying out for mercy, a clean heart, and the restoration of joy.

Devotional: After Nathan said "you are that man," David did not run. He did not deflect or make excuses. He broke. And in that breaking, something beautiful happened. He turned to God with full honesty and found that God's grace was larger than his sin. Nathan's words of comfort were not earned by David's tears. They were given freely by a God who does not delight in condemnation but in restoration. Whatever you are carrying today, whatever you have done that you believe puts you beyond forgiveness, hear this: God's grace is not a reward for the worthy. It is a gift for the broken.

Reflection: Is there a sin or a failure you have been convinced God cannot or will not forgive? What would it mean to bring it to him today?

Practical Application: Write out an honest prayer of confession, similar in spirit to Psalm 51. Do not edit it or soften it. Bring it to God as it is, and then receive the promise that in Christ, you are forgiven.
