Day 2

Day 2: Faithful in the Small Assignment
Reading: Nehemiah 1:1-11; Luke 16:10

Devotional: Nehemiah was not a general or a prophet. He was a cupbearer — a man whose job was to ensure the king's table was properly served. And yet God used that small, seemingly insignificant post to position Nehemiah for one of the great restoration projects in Israel's history. His faithfulness in the ordinary earned him trust, influence, and access. Luke reminds us that the person who is faithful in small things will be trusted with greater things. You may not see the full picture of why you are where you are. But God does. Your current assignment is not a detour. It is the preparation.
Reflection: What small, faithful act in your current role might God be using to prepare you for something larger in his kingdom?
