Day 4: United by the Body and Blood
Reading: 1 Corinthians 11:23-29
Devotional: When we gather at the Lord's Table, we participate in something profoundly unifying. The same body and blood of Christ flows through each believer, making us one community despite our differences. We don't come to communion because we're worthy; we come because Christ makes us worthy. We don't gather because we all agree on everything; we gather because we all need the same Savior. This sacred meal demolishes every wall—economic, racial, social, political. At the cross, we're all equally broken and equally loved. At the Table, we're all equally fed and equally forgiven. As you prepare to receive communion next, look around at your fellow believers. You are united with them in the most intimate way possible—through the sacrificial love of Jesus. Let that unity shape how you treat them outside the sanctuary.
