Day 3: God Is Not Indifferent
Reading: John 3:16-17; Romans 5:6-8
Devotional: "The opposite of love is not hate; it's indifference." While we often become indifferent to God's Word, sin's consequences, or our neighbor's suffering, God demonstrates the opposite. He so loved this broken, hostile world that He sent Jesus. God wasn't indifferent to your sin—He dealt with it on the cross. He isn't indifferent to your suffering—He entered into it through Christ. He's not indifferent to evil—He defeated it through resurrection. When you feel forgotten or insignificant, remember: God loved you enough to sacrifice His Son. That's not indifference; that's radical, pursuing, sacrificial love. How does knowing God is not indifferent to you change how you approach Him today? Let His love melt your indifference toward Him and others.
