Day 2

Day 2: The Kingdom Not of This World
Reading: John 18:36; Colossians 1:13-20

Devotional: Jesus told Pilate, "My kingdom is not of this world." This wasn't a retreat from reality but a declaration of a greater reality—God's kingdom of peace, justice, and love. Paul reminds us that through Christ, all things were created and hold together. We live between two kingdoms: the broken world we see and the restored kingdom Jesus brings. As citizens of God's kingdom, we're called to live differently—showing grace when culture demands revenge, offering peace amid hostility, extending mercy when others withhold it. Today, ask yourself: Am I living as a citizen of God's kingdom or merely conforming to this world's patterns? Your daily choices—how you speak, forgive, serve, and love—reveal which kingdom truly rules your heart.
