Day 1

Day 1: The Invitation That Cannot Be Ignored
Reading: John 1:43-46 -- Philip encounters Jesus and immediately runs to find Nathanael, urging him to come and witness the fulfillment of ancient promise.

Devotional: There is something irresistible about a genuine invitation rooted in personal encounter. Philip did not craft an argument or prepare a theological defense. He simply said, "Come and see." He had met Jesus, and that meeting changed everything. You have also met Jesus -- through baptism, through the Word, through the community of faith. The question is whether that encounter still carries the same electricity it once did. Ask yourself today: when did I last feel the wild-eyed wonder of someone who has just discovered something too good to keep to themselves? That wonder is not gone. It is waiting to be rekindled.

Reflection: Who in your life needs to hear a simple, honest, joy-filled invitation from you this week?
