Day 3

Day 3: Guarding What Fills Your Mind
Reading: Philippians 4:8-9 — Paul instructs believers to direct their thoughts toward things that are true, honorable, just, pure, and worthy of praise, and to practice the things they have been taught.

Devotional: The mind is not a passive space. It is constantly being shaped by whatever we allow into it. In a world of relentless noise, outrage, and distraction, Paul's instruction feels almost countercultural. He is not asking believers to be naive or uninformed. He is asking them to be intentional. Children learning something new are naturally absorbed by it. They are not distracted because their attention is fully given to what is in front of them. What would it look like for you to give your full attention to what is good, right, and true each morning before the noise of the day takes over?

Reflection: What is the first thing you give your attention to each morning, and how does it shape the rest of your day?

Practical Application: Replace one habitual distraction in your morning routine this week with five minutes of Scripture reading or prayer.
