Day 5: You Know How the Story Ends
Reading: Revelation 21:3-4 — John describes a vision of God dwelling with His people, wiping every tear from their eyes, and declaring that death, mourning, crying, and pain will be no more.
Devotional: Faith is not a blind leap into the unknown. For the believer, faith is a confident walk toward a known destination. You know how the story ends. It ends with God dwelling among His people. It ends with every tear wiped away. It ends with death itself defeated and the victory of Jesus Christ belonging fully to you. The hardships of today are real, but they are not the final chapter. Through faith in Jesus Christ, His perfect life, His sacrificial death, and His glorious resurrection have been given to you as your own. No matter what you face, your story ends in victory.
Reflection: How does knowing the end of your story change the way you face today's struggles? What would it look like to live this week as someone who already knows they are victorious in Christ?
