Day 5

Day 5: Wisdom for Those Who Guide Others
Reading: Proverbs 4:1-13; 2 Timothy 2:1-7

Devotional: Perhaps people come to you for advice. Your children, grandchildren, friends, or coworkers seek your wisdom based on your experience. This is both an honor and a responsibility. But what happens when you're the one who doesn't know the answer? When you're confused too?
This is where humility becomes wisdom. The wisest response is sometimes, "I don't know, but let's seek God together." You don't have to have all the answers to guide others well. You simply need to know where wisdom is found and point them there.
Paul encouraged Timothy to entrust what he learned to faithful people who would teach others. This is the multiplication of wisdom—not pretending to be all-knowing, but sharing what God has taught you while continuing to learn yourself. Your greatest gift to those who seek your counsel isn't having every answer; it's modeling a life that consistently seeks God first. When you demonstrate dependence on God's wisdom rather than your own understanding, you teach others the most valuable lesson: true wisdom begins and ends with the fear of the Lord.
