Day 5: Ambassadors of the True Kingdom
Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:16-21
Devotional: You are Christ's ambassador, representing His kingdom to a watching world. This kingdom extends to every person—from ICE agents to immigrants, police to protesters, CEOs to the homeless—because Jesus died for all. The kingdom is marked not by political power but by sacrificial love, self-denial, service, and compassion for every person, regardless of background or belief. This is countercultural and uncomfortable. It means loving enemies, blessing persecutors, and serving those who cannot repay you. But this is the ministry of reconciliation entrusted to you. Today, identify someone you've written off, dismissed, or dehumanized because of their politics, position, or choices. How can you demonstrate Christ's kingdom to them this week? Remember: every person is eternally important to God, which makes them eternally important to you. Be the voice that speaks Jesus' truth above the crowd's noise.
