Day 2

Day 2: When the Crowd Turns
Reading: Mark 15:6-15

Devotional: Within days, the same voices praising Jesus cried "Crucify Him!" The crowd's loyalty proved fickle and dangerous. Peer pressure isn't just a teenage problem—it's a human condition that can lead us away from truth. Solomon Asch's experiment revealed that 75% of people conform to the crowd even when they know it's wrong. Where are you feeling pressure to compromise your faith or remain silent about Jesus? Following Christ often means standing alone, going against popular opinion, and choosing truth over acceptance. Remember that Jesus stood silent before His accusers, secure in His Father's approval. You don't need the crowd's validation when you have God's. Today, identify one area where you've been influenced by the crowd rather than Christ, and commit to listening for His voice instead.
