Day 4: Many Voices, One Truth
Reading: John 10:1-18
Devotional: Jesus declares, "My sheep hear my voice." But countless voices compete for our attention—prosperity preachers promising wealth, cultural voices promoting self-fulfillment, political movements claiming Jesus for their agenda, and whispers telling us faith doesn't really matter. How do we discern Jesus' true voice? We know His sheep by spending time in His Word, where His character and message are clearly revealed. Jesus' voice always calls us toward love, sacrifice, forgiveness, service, and the Father's will. Any message focused primarily on our comfort, power, or personal gain should be questioned. Today, evaluate what voices you're listening to most—podcasts, news, social media, friends. Do they align with Scripture or drown out Jesus' call? Commit to spending more time in God's Word than consuming other content this week.
