Day 3: Warnings from a Faithful Friend
Reading: Proverbs 27:5-6, 17
Devotional: "Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses." True friendship isn't always comfortable; sometimes it requires difficult conversations. Jesus warns us throughout Scripture about the dangers of sin, the traps of the enemy, and the cost of discipleship. These warnings aren't meant to discourage but to protect. Like Jonathan warning David of Saul's murderous plans, Jesus alerts us to spiritual dangers because He loves us. Similarly, we're called to be that kind of friend to others—speaking truth even when it's hard, holding each other accountable, and sharpening one another like iron sharpens iron. Who in your life needs a loving warning today? Who has God placed in your life to warn you?
