Day 2: Known and Still Loved
Reading: Psalm 139:1-18
Devotional: One of marriage's greatest gifts is being fully known yet completely loved—and this mirrors God's relationship with us. David declares, "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me." God knows every thought, every failure, every hidden struggle, and He still pursues us with relentless love. In marriage, spouses gradually discover each other's flaws, wounds, and weaknesses. Yet covenant love says, "I know you, and I'm staying." This is the gospel lived out daily. God doesn't love the version of you that you pretend to be; He loves the real you—the messy, broken, beautiful you. Today, stop hiding. Bring your authentic self before God, knowing that His knowledge of you only deepens His love. Then practice this with others: create safe spaces where people can be known without fear of rejection.
