Day 5: Living Temples, Moving Presence
Reading: Acts 2:1-4, 37-41; Matthew 28:18-20
Devotional:
The Jerusalem temple was stationary—people traveled to meet God there. But you are a mobile temple, carrying God's presence into your workplace, home, and community. Pentecost unleashed the Church into the world as living temples. This is your sacred calling: to be the place where people encounter the living God. Your prayers rise like incense. Your generosity becomes a sacrifice of praise. Your service reflects Christ's love. Your body, empowered by the Spirit, brings heaven to earth wherever you go. You're not waiting for God to show up—He already has, in you. This week, recognize that every conversation, every interaction, every moment is an opportunity for someone to experience God's presence through you. You are His temple. Now go and be the sacred space where lives are transformed.
