Day 3: The Mission Continues Through You
Reading: Acts 1:4-11
Devotional: Jesus' ascension wasn't an ending—it was a commissioning. When Christ returned to heaven, He didn't abandon His mission to bring God's presence to humanity. Instead, He entrusted it to us through the Holy Spirit. "You will be my witnesses," He declared, from your neighborhood to the ends of the earth. This means you are now the tabernacle, the temple that moves. God's presence dwells in you, and wherever you go, you carry heaven's influence. You don't wait for people to come to church; you bring the church to them. At work, in your community, within your family—you are God's representative. This is both humbling and empowering. Today, ask yourself: Am I living as a mobile temple? Do people encounter God's presence through my words, actions, and love?
