Day 3

Day 3: The Look That Changes Everything
Reading: Luke 22:60-62; Psalm 51:1-12

Devotional: After Peter's third denial, "the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter." That look wasn't condemnation—it was love mingled with sorrow. In that moment, Peter remembered Jesus' words and wept bitterly. God has ways of getting our attention: a verse that pierces our heart, a child's innocent question, circumstances that expose our hypocrisy, or simply a quiet conviction of the Holy Spirit. These moments aren't meant to destroy us but to draw us back. Like David after his sin, we can cry out, "Create in me a pure heart, O God." God's loving gaze always invites repentance, not rejection. When you sense God's conviction today, don't harden your heart. Let it break you open to receive His mercy.

Reflection Question: When has God's loving conviction brought you to repentance?
