Day 2: Waiting on the Lord
Reading: Psalm 27:13-14
Devotional: The sermon spoke about the frustration of being on the "road to nowhere," when we can see our goal but can't seem to reach it. This Psalm encourages us to wait for the Lord and be strong and courageous. Waiting is often one of the hardest spiritual disciplines, but it's in these times that our faith is strengthened. Today, consider an area of your life where you're in a season of waiting. How can you use this time to grow closer to God? Instead of seeing it as a "road to nowhere," try to view it as a "road of preparation." Ask God to reveal what He might be teaching you in this season of waiting.
