Day 2: Come and See
Reading: John 1:35-39
Devotional: When John the Baptist pointed to Jesus as the Lamb of God, Jesus didn't launch into a sermon or perform miracles. Instead, He simply invited the disciples to "come and see" where He was staying, and they spent the day with Him. The kingdom of God begins with presence, not performance. Jesus valued relationship over religious activity. This Christmas, are you so busy preparing for Jesus that you forget to actually be with Jesus? The disciples didn't receive a lecture that day—they received Jesus Himself. Set aside time this week to simply sit in God's presence without agenda. Read Scripture slowly. Pray quietly. Just be with Him, as He is with you.
